I feel like I’m always taken by surprise when people still remember and shout me out. My story stemmed from wondering if people would acknowledge me for me or if the apes would be the only reason. Since my last showcase at HK Art Basel, my artwork has been in the midst of an overturn. A realization of true self in the chaotic fray. Been incubating. Some will have noticed this. Beyond grateful. Firstly I need to thank Ali and the incredible team at @AspreyStudio who took on multiple roles as directors, gallerists, and craftsmen. @Alastairwalker, Michela, and Leix and I came together to create what "AFTER JADE" was and is. It is an honor to have the studio take it upon themselves to bring my vision to life from mere sketches to beautiful delicate jade-like sculptures. And of course, a bow and a curtsey to @redbeardnft as he has done so much to support and cultivate the practices of so many artists, including my own. Zero 10 would've have existed if it weren't for him. Thank you so much Benny. Our program at Basel couldn't have been more well represented than with the poise and eloquence of @eli_schein, bringing our corner of the world to the center stage to duke it out with the rest of them.
