Marriages have always been disadvantageous to men. The legal, social, economic and governance structure all civilizations generally converged on around marriage and households all work to tame men’s natural polygynous bastardy, planting seed freely without mate investment, for the woman’s natural monogamy, securing mate protection and child investment. Men were drawn into marriage by status, enfranchisement, family pressure; but most importantly, the economic incentives of inheritance. As much as no-fault divorce and the novel invention of the franchised economic individual separate from the household has added risk to the stability of the household, the basic economic incentive of structuring inheritance has not changed. Pressure from society and status pushing men to invest in their future is what’s eroding; simultaneous with the same pressure women once held to contain their own natural tendency towards sexual liberality and against transactional sex. For the most part, the divorce you guys are so scared about is a symptom of marrying women who have engaged in transactional sex—only non-virgins initiate divorce—which is your own fault for lowering your standards so much that you are “partnering” with glorified prostitutes, who engage in such because you accept and normalize it. Fornification, cohabitation without marriage is degenerate and perverted; society loses nothing by discouraging it. Actual street hookers is less degenerate than the modern “relationship”. Marriage and childrearing is a stage of adulthood both sexes cross into that marks their transition from adolescent into adults; performing marriagehood without commitment or offspring is an extended adolescence, stunted, failed adulting, and should be made illegal again if not on fornification laws, then on child sex laws, and you should once again be disenfranchised from voting. The underclass has no argument against this except explaining the only women they have access to are prostitutes. If there was one medication to reverse to help renormalize contemporary sexual relations, it’s less birth control than penicillin, because God must suffer proles under syphilis again. They have no argument against this.
