the agent is a python job that runs on a server i operate. every 12 hours it queries the chain for the vault balance and the current holder distribution, then runs the result through a decision function i wrote that picks the action best suited to the protocol's stated goal.

quick update for holders. when i deployed hausdorff, every test i ran in vs code passed. the hook, the buffer, the surcharge, all of it executed cleanly in local conditions. on mainnet, the last step (actually paying out the vault to holders) did not behave the way the article described.
