Crynux

Crynux is a decentralized AI inference and compute orchestration layer that aggregates edge GPU resources (consumer cards to H100s) for running LLMs, Stable Diffusion, and other AI workloads. The project launched mainnet in June 2026 with its $CNX token on Base, features a custom consensus protocol (vssML) built on ZKP/VRF for verifiable computation, and offers staking rewards for node operators. Early-stage with ~3.4k followers and account created Oct 2023, showing real technical depth via GitHub, docs, and working node software.

Green flags: Working mainnet launched June 2026 with real node software (v2.7.1) and staking mechanism · Technical differentiation: custom vssML consensus using ZKP/VRF for verifiable AI compute · Active development: GitHub repo, detailed docs, integrations with Hermes Agent and Irys · Small following (~3.4k) despite substantive infrastructure, account <2 years old (Oct 2023) · Token launched on Base with delegated staking live, clear tokenomics around node rewards

Red flags: Limited marketing traction relative to technical progress (low engagement ~90 avg for mainnet launch) · Reliance on incentivized testnet/early emissions for node participation, long-term sustainability unclear · Competitive space with established players in decentralized compute (io.net, Akash, Render)

Crynux Node v3.5.0 is now available. This release is a major step toward larger models, faster multi-GPU inference, and a more resilient node runtime. What’s new: • Multi-GPU support: A single node can now aggregate VRAM across multiple GPUs on the same machine, enabling support for larger AI models that wouldn’t fit on a single GPU. • Tensor Parallelism: Supported models can distribute their weights across multiple GPUs and execute inference concurrently, delivering significantly faster performance on the same hardware. • Redesigned task engine: A new state-driven reconcile loop automatically recovers from task failures and temporary errors, allowing nodes to remain online and serve inference more reliably. Progress update and a genuinely exciting one. The Crynux EVM-compatible chain on NEAR is ready, and node deployment is now underway. Instead of spending months standing up and maintaining our own L2, we built on @auroraisnear’s Virtual Chain infrastructure. That gives us the entire Ethereum toolchain out of the box (Solidity, MetaMask, existing contracts deploy without a rewrite), sitting on top of NEAR’s high throughput and near-zero fees. For a decentralized AI compute network, that combination is the whole game. Coordinating and settling compute means a constant stream of small on-chain transactions which is exactly the workload that dies on expensive, congested chains and thrives on fast, cheap, battle-tested infrastructure. Aurora gave us that base layer without the months of engineering it would normally demand. A real thank-you to the @auroraisnear team for the out-of-the-box EVM chain and the support getting us here. This is the foundation the next phase of Crynux gets built on. Building never stops.

Technology attracts attention. Utility creates long term value. That’s where $CNX comes in. The CNX token is embedded throughout the Crynux ecosystem and plays a fundamental role in how the network operates. • AI inference is paid for in CNX, creating demand driven by real network usage. • Customers can pay in USDT/USDC, with payments converted into CNX to power AI inference on the network. • Node operators stake CNX to provide compute, earn rewards, and improve their chances of receiving higher value inference tasks. • Token holders can delegate CNX to node operators, securing the network while earning staking rewards without running infrastructure themselves. We also use our own product. Our Discord AI assistant, Intern, is powered by the Crynux network through API because we believe in building with the infrastructure we’re creating. Our mission is simple: leverage decentralized compute to deliver AI inference at a lower cost than traditional providers. The AI inference market is already worth hundreds of billions of dollars and continues to grow rapidly. Building infrastructure with genuine token utility is how we believe @Crynuxai will earn its place in that market.

We’ve been building @crynuxio for years, one step at a time. It starts by connecting underutilized compute from people around the world to the network, allowing anyone to contribute GPU resources while developers access AI inference through a simple API. This isn’t another GPU rental marketplace. Traditional GPU marketplaces require users to rent specific hardware, creating trust and verification challenges. With Crynux, developers don’t request a particular GPU. They submit an AI inference task with requirements like latency and price, and the network automatically routes it to the best available compute provider. The result is a permissionless AI inference marketplace focused on outcomes, not hardware. Whether you’re contributing a single gaming GPU at home or operating a larger compute cluster, you can participate. Many of our providers today are individuals running GPUs from their homes, helping build a decentralized AI network from the ground up. Community-powered infrastructure. Community-owned compute. Decentralized AI.
