We’re shutting down TokenSight. After two years of building, experimenting, and trying to find product-market fit, we’ve come to a point where we no longer see a viable path forward. We explored many different directions—some of which we were very optimistic about—but none were enough to turn the tide. The market evolved, the environment changed both fundamentally and statistically, and the competition moved far ahead. Despite our efforts, the gap kept growing. At the same time, the business is financially unsustainable. Operating costs have significantly outweighed any revenue, and continuing like this doesn’t make sense. We’ve decided that shutting down TokenSight now is the right approach going forward. Here’s what’s next: - Trading will be disabled on April 19, 2025. - The platform will stay online until May 15, 2025 so users can withdraw their assets. Our team will remain available to assist with withdrawals or questions during that period. Regarding the $TKST token: The team has navigated the project with a community-first approach, while always having prioritised rewarding our community and users via various mechanisms and not selling any of the team tokens, treasury, or any “team-controlled tranche” over its lifetime. All the tokens related to the team, ecosystem, and treasury will be burned, while the token will continue to exist as it’s beyond our control. The majority of the treasury and ecosystem tokens are still vesting. Thank you to everyone who used TokenSight, supported us, gave feedback, or believed in the mission. Users who earned more than 1,000 points during this period received tokens at one of the Ethereum addresses linked to their TokenSight account.
