Terrible take from a terrible experience and I’m sorry you feel that way brother. $60k is no light bill either. The point here is not and never has been luxury. It’s efficiency. For $60-70k you should be flying in a Challenger 300/350, G200, or similar. A few other fringe benefits you should be getting: • Peace of mind • Ability to maintain a working headspace • Physical and mental preservation • Private space to remain efficient The last private flight I was on, Palm Beach to Vegas - I went from working, to the airport, back to working in under 60 minutes. I landed, not exhausted, and ready for a dinner meeting I had shortly after arrival. You cannot, and will not, get that flying commercial. Flying private isn’t a yacht - it’s a force multiplier for building value and quality of life. I’m not sure what plane you were on or the details surrounding the flight, but I can assure you that if you got a “sweatbox” whomever you flew with did you a disservice or you rounded up to $60k number and actually went cheap as possible. My guess is, someone sold you on a clapped out GIV or beat to crap Citation X (fast, but not great). If you want to try again properly with actual standards in place - lmk, we’ll give you a first flight satisfaction guarantee.

I am the new sworn enemy of a lady who has a riding rink down my road. About 2 miles away. Claims I’m speeding down the road, revving the engine, and even blamed me directly for a skiddish horse bucking someone off. Mind you, I’m 3” off the ground and we have speed bumps every 300-500 feet or so. Massive ones. Like dukes of hazard speed bump platforms. There happens to be one 138ft from her property. If I hit that thing going more than 5 MPH, it’ll mess up $20k worth of carbon. She’s reached out to my wife saying I shouldn’t own one of those “things” around here. Lady - it’s Florida and you put your rink on the edge of a road like a moron. 5 acres and the first quarter acre is a riding rink so you can show off your little ponies to your neighbors. All fun and games until 800 ponies come down the road. What’s wild is, last time she texted my wife, my wife was in the car - we weren’t in the slightest speeding or being any sort of special. Just going to dinner in the middle of nowhere. About a week ago, my wife driving the Lamborghini with children and came flailing her arms as if something was wrong. If my dog goes crazy when my neighbor rides his motorcycle, is my neighbor liable for the scratches on my window sill or should he be responsible if my dog gets hurt chasing him?
