This partnership was a long time coming, and I’m thrilled it’s now public. After starting digital assets at BlackRock in 2015, I left to join Uniswap when it was 10 people in 2021. Uniswap was clearly an innovation in financial markets — crowd-sourced liquidity, no need for a market maker, anyone could become one. Five years and $4T of trading later, it made sense to me that the world’s largest asset manager should partner with the world’s most used AMM. It took open-mindedness and persistence to get this done, and I hope both firms push to tokenize markets from here.

Personal news: after four incredible years as President & COO of @Uniswap, I’m starting something new. This is a new chapter for crypto. We’ve come a long way since I started digital assets at BlackRock in 2015, and building with @haydenzadams was an awesome adventure. I’m excited to scale from here. Stay tuned :)
