#AIBC2026 @AIBC_World together industry leaders on June 2, for the panel discussion "The People's Perspective: Impact of Regulation on Innovation, Consumers, and Businesses." Beosin was honored to be part of it. 🤝 Our COO, Alex Cheng, joined fellow panelists from Sumsub @sumsub , GlobalMirandaMinerGroup @gmmg_official, and InnovationPH (iPH) to discuss how AML compliance, regulation, and innovation intersect across banking, crypto, and iGaming. From a compliance and on-chain risk lens, Alex Cheng shared a few key points: 🔍 Money laundering hasn't disappeared in Web3, it's just smaller, faster, and often goes unreported. Many VASPs have no obligation to file STRs, so the absence of headlines doesn't mean the absence of risk. ⚠️ The real vulnerability isn't regulated exchanges. It's unregulated, offshore VASPs and iGaming platforms with little to no KYT or transaction monitoring, where a leaked identity can open ten accounts in minutes. ✅ Hong Kong's VASP licensing regime, which enforces KYT and the Travel Rule, is a meaningful step forward. But as long as unregulated venues exist globally, illicit funds will keep flowing to wherever the doors are open. A big thank you to AIBC World and fellow panelists for such a thoughtful exchange. We look forward to more conversations on strengthening compliance frameworks across Web3 and traditional finance. 🎥 Full panel video in the comments. #Compliance #Blockchain #RegTech #AIBC2026 #CryptoCompliance #AntiMoneyLaundering #VASP

🔍A 32-byte omission. A multi-million-dollar lesson. The root cause of the SecondFi wallet incident: the secret prefix used in Ed25519 nonce generation was dropped during implementation, allowing the private key to be mathematically recovered from a single on-chain signature. This wasn't a flaw in the cryptography — Ed25519 itself is sound. It was a failure of engineering implementation and missing test-vector verification. Beosin put together a full technical breakdown of the vulnerability. Would love to hear others' thoughts. #BeosinInsight #SecurityResearch #Web3 #CryptoEngineering

Beosin was honored to join the panel discussion "The Real Capabilities & Limits of AI-Assisted Investing," co-organized by HKU Business School @HKUFBE and HKU Business School Alumni Association, with OLAXBT @olaxbt and Futu Holdings Limited as partners, at HKU iCube this week. 🤝Our COO, Alex Cheng, joined fellow panelists from HKU Business School @HKUFBE, Amber Group @ambergroup_io , FORMS HK, Finloop HK, and OLAXBT to discuss AI's role in investing, risk monitoring, and compliance. From a security and compliance lens, Alex Cheng shared a few core convictions: 🔍 AI is powerful for detecting suspicious patterns at scale, but human judgment remains critical. In AML, AI should support decisions, not make them. Always ask “why.” A big thank you to the organizers and fellow panelists for such a thoughtful exchange. We look forward to more conversations on combining AI and human judgment to strengthen security and compliance across FinTech and Web3. #AI #FinTech #Web3 #RegTech

🤖💳 As AI agents start paying for things on their own, who defines the rules of machine-to-machine payments? Stripe and Tempo have launched the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), built for machine-to-machine payments. It lets AI agents autonomously handle price negotiation, payment method selection, credential submission, and settlement within automated workflows. Key takeaways from this deep dive: 🔹 MPP reuses the HTTP 402 and WWW-Authenticate challenge-response pattern, embedding payments naturally into the request lifecycle 🔹 It supports three settlement modes: one-time Charge, metered Session, and recurring Subscription, covering everything from single queries to high-frequency calls 🔹 Compared with Coinbase's x402: x402 is lighter and scaling faster, with transaction volume over 10x that of MPP. MPP wins on payment breadth (fiat and multi-chain) and enterprise-grade compliance through Stripe Radar and Tempo's on-chain controls 🔹 Ecosystem status: 137 services and 1,400+ endpoints registered, with a median price of $0.02 per request. Still early-stage This race to define the AI agent payment protocol echoes early HTTP-era standards battles. Whoever wins developer adoption fastest may end up defining the payment infrastructure for the next-gen AI economy. Full analysis below 👇 #BeosinInsight #AIAgents
